While I agree with the sentiment, I don't see how the government can tax something you can easily grow in your back yard. Then again, there aren't many people growing their own tobacco, barley and hops, either.
At the very least the tax money used in the war on drugs could be better wasted somewhere else.Just legalize it and tax it, already.
I guess if they can arrest you for growing something you can easily grow in your back yard, they can sure as heck find a way to tax it.While I agree with the sentiment, I don't see how the government can tax something you can easily grow in your back yard. if you're toking this much, lung cancer is the least of your worriesIn this high-exposure group, lung cancer risk rose by 5.7 times for patients who smoked more than a joint a day for 10 years, or two joints a day for 5 years, after adjusting for other variables, including cigarette smoking.
I assume this is because cannabis smoke is usually inhaled as completely unfiltered smoke. I'm wondering if thc taken in through the use of a water bong is equally unhealthy. I'm willing to bet that legalized weed would lead tobacco companies to start manufactoring "packs" of filtered joints like they do their cigarettes. In any case, none of it matters. Weed will never be legalized (at least not in my lifetime.)And in related news:
Cannabis bigger cancer risk than cigarettes: study
HONG KONG (Reuters) - Smoking a joint is equivalent to 20 cigarettes in terms of lung cancer risk, scientists in New Zealand have found, as they warned of an "epidemic" of lung cancers linked to cannabis.

Whats a person to do?![]()
I don't wanna know. I smoked unfiltered Kools for five years before quitting. :sifone:I wonder what the cancer rate is for unfiltered cigarette smokers.
Yeah, I would say cottonmouth, starvation, and heavy metal music would rank above cancer on the worry-o-meter.if you're toking this much, lung cancer is the least of your worries![]()
Off the top of my head, I would assume it's higher than that of weed joints.I wonder what the cancer rate is for unfiltered cigarette smokers.
and all of the people peering through the curtains, the contemplation of what the inside of your scalp feels like, and why all reporters talk and act the sameYeah, I would say cottonmouth, starvation, and heavy metal music would rank above cancer on the worry-o-meter.
Hmmmm ...... What if the government legalizes pot, but bans trans fats? All I know is that I want to put a bunch of snack machines right next to it. Fill it with nothing but dry cereal, cheese puffs, taco shells, and other cheap stuff stoners love. I'd have my retirement saved before I knew it.
I don't think it makes you brain dead. Many a great professor I've had confirms that it doesn't too much to your brain.Hmmmm ...... What if the government legalizes pot, but bans trans fats?
