The Myth of Ancient Parity: Articles About Competitive Imbalance Coming

My solution would be to make 2 divisions: FBS-A and FBS-B. P5 teams would make up FBS-A and G5 would make up FBS-B. Some current P5 teams should also be moved to FBS-B. Each division would then have a 4-team playoff. There's your expansion to 8 teams. Everybody's happy.

    Rib Injury Fields

Ain't gonna lie. I hope he's nowhere near full capacity. I watched him shred Clemson after that injury. I'd rather he has to play with hesitation for fear of being hurt worse.

    Predicting Alabama's next OC

I really hope Hugh Freeze never comes to Tuscaloosa, or anywhere else in the SEC. I feel strongly that what we know about the Ole Miss stuff is only the surface and it's a lot dirtier than reported. I remember the dirty dealings that went on at Alabama during the Dubose years. I hope that...

Game Thread: Cotton Bowl: Sooners vs Gators. (Oklahoma wins 55-20) Oklahoma is Back

I don't. No fans from any other SEC team will feel bad if Bama loses. SEC SEC SEC? Not me. I'm a Bama fan and the heck with all the rest of them.

The trenches (does Bama match up to ND's lines?)

The original post in this thread should have start out with, "Once upon a time..." Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was fairy tale/fantasy also.

Dabo had Ohio State at 11 in his final coaches poll

I think Ohio State's chances of beating Clemson are 80/20. Therefore, it doesn't matter what Clemson's chances are of beating Bama. They won't be there. I'm not a fan of Ohio State, just a realist. :p

Just In: Tennessee Football Under Investigation from Compliance and NCAA

I would find it difficult to believe that Pruitt is involved in cheating. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see him being inVOLved in Tennessee's corrupt culture. I suspect they've been extremely dirty all along, especially since Fulmer's return, and they see an opportunity to sacrifice a...

    2 Ole Miss players quit

As a USAF retiree (and Desert Storm Veteran), I have little use for quitters. Regardless of anything else in their resume, QUITTER is the key characteristic. Integrity should mean something - whether it's on a football field or a battlefield. Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more...

Florida's Defense - How should Bama fare?

I read somewhere that a former Florida player said Marco Wilson will shut Smitty down. I predict that Wilson will have plenty of shoes to throw. They'll be his own shoes because Smitty will juke him out of them.

Question: Should OSU be in the playoffs?

Ohio State has played 5 teams, 4 of which have a losing record. How can anyone say they are one of the 4 best teams with so little data? The Big 10 wants to play for all the glory without any of the work. Let them pass out the participation trophies among themselves.

Link: Dabo: FSU forfeited the game

I agree with those who believe the ACC is to blame for allowing the situation to occur. I also believe Dabo Swinney has lost any credibility because of his lack of professionalism and trying to make himself out to be the victim. Anyone with his level of responsibility should have proceeded on...

Can't Wait to get to Work Tomorrow

I'm not so sure Florida will see Bennett at QB. Word is, Kirby has given up the cowboy look and hung the Stetson on the hat rack.

Some facts to ease your mind re: Bama/UGA

I don't really put a lot of stock in last week's game vs Ole Miss. In 2016, Ole Miss beat Bama in game 3, scoring 43 points and gaining over 500 yards on offense. Bama went on to beat UGA 38-10 in Athens in game 5, and then won the national championship. I'm hoping last week was an anomaly.
