This defense needs a ball control offense which we don’t have. Or if we do it’s sitting on the bench getting ready (apparently) for next year.

For this year we’ll either get better or get worse. Hard to say about next year as there is no way to predict what the roster will look like. Going forward teams will be more prone to dramatic shifts based on too many variables to even think about.

Nice to see MM’s post. I’m sure it’s heartfelt. Now got out and lead by a better example. On a different note, I’d be more than happy to see some of the other QBs play. I’d love to see them by the third quarter of the SC. I wouldn’t be disappointed to see one in the first quarter actually. Roll!

Good - can’t think of a single thing Bad - pretty much everything football wise Ugly - Coachs T shirt. Effort and Sportsmanship or lack thereof. There should be some fines handed out to some players and others should have there pay checks docked.

I think the call on the “hit” on the SC QB by the LSU player could have been interpreted as a blind side block even though it was just a two handed push or shove. Not defending the refs just my thoughts on that particular call/play.

We gave up some yards between the 20s due to QB runs but they stiffened pretty well as the field got smaller. I agree that we haven’t really shown our hand re getting after the QB.

What happens if someone wearing a C is or becomes second string? Obviously that person can still be a leader but impact could be minimized re not normally being in the game the majority of the time.

I’d have to disagree with ball placement. I saw a lot of inaccurate throws at every level. The winner against the barn was however a thing of beauty.

Understanding the concept/offense is one thing. Effective execution of those things is another.
