2014 Prospects

Coach Saban visited Charles Mosley at Brighton a few weeks back. As pointed out, Mosley has camped at Bama. He plays DT at Brighton but Bama coaches were at one time interested in seeing him on the offensive line. I don't know if he will get moved to the OL for his senior season or not. He may be closer to 6'4" and probably weighs a little more than 350 right now. He is a good kid and student.

For those that do not know, Brighton is north of Memphis.

Cornwell has a BAMA offer that was extended to him @ junior day. he will be back in Tuscaloosa in two weeks. All the QB offers are contingent on them coming to camp in the summer and throwing for the staff. (IMO when Cornwell gets to camp and throws ,he will commit on the spot.) LF is going to be in Tuscaloosa this weekend with a few other prospects.

It does sound like he'd consider it, but considering how many OL schollies our staff has thrown out recently, I'd probably expect an OL to commit before a QB.

On another note, I read Fourtnette and one of his teammates is going to visit this weekend. (article is on al.com but I have had issues pasting links for some reason.

I have no doubt that David Cornwell would commit to Alabama right now, if the offer was commitable. But he'll have to wait until the summer to throw live for the coaching staff.

As for Leonard Fournette, he is expected to visit this weekend with teammate Jermaine Roberts.

According to the BOL staff , the Bama staff really likes their chances with Fournette. Coach Burns is a St. Augustine alumni. Plus the Bama staff has a very good relationship with the St. Agustine staff.

Jam, if he is coming in two weeks why can't he throw then?

There is nothing wrong with it at all, but if you can sign two or three top backs why wouldn't you?

If it will take a miracle to get LF, why is he visiting this weekend. Seems like he is very interested.
