That is a good hire for LSU, but I wonder if Canada can replicate his success here in SEC. How many team can average over 40 points per game on consistent basis here in SEC with real good Defense? Looking at next year schedule, they will be easily 5-0 before facing Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss and Alabama then Arkansas. I think they will be overhyped team and favorite to win SEC West.

Well Florida Gator board and someone on BOL said that he's going to Florida as C0-OC and as recruit coordinator.
Interesting if thats the case. UF is in desperate need of upgrading their recruiting. And I'm sure they would take advantage of the scheme principles he's learned while being at UA as well.
If true, then it might a good move. I can't help thinking if CNS is trying to help CJM
Our best recruiter/closer is Nick Saban and Mack needs to figure that out in a hurry if he expects to be competing at an elite level. Meyer, Fisher, Dabo, Harbaugh - recruiting starts at the top.
True, but what good is a great closer if you don't have the guys to get you to the point of letting the closer do his job?
Coach Mac can't focus on recruiting against CNS, Meyer, Harbaugh etc... until he can recruit against Fisher, Richt, and the slew of good coaches in Florida.

True ... and thats what makes this possible hire necessary for him. He has to make moves NOW to keep UF competitive, especially with recruits from Florida. If he misses out on a solid recruiting class next season, there's a really good chance he'll be on the hot seat by 2018
