Lol someone on twitter pointed out that Penny averaged more yards per carry (7.5) than Josh Allen averaged per attempt (6.7) in the same division.
So I'm seeing a trend here in the last few NFL draft classes. Teams that have had success drafting Saban coached Bama players, tend to dip back in and add more. Redskins have 3 on their defense, Titans picked up another Bama boy, Falcons have a couple. Really remarkable.

It seems to me like NFL GMs are more willing to waste a first-round pick by trying to find a diamond-in-the-rough than to draft a sure thing a single spot higher than they should go - which usually seems to result in sure-thing players going lower than they should really go.
Or am I the only person seeing that?
