We need a Dear commitment to sooth the flip pain. I am assuming S Feagans is a priority since the Smith to flip to the Barn info is out there.

Hopefully some '26 kids commit soon also since many more of them than '25 recruits are visiting this weekend.

I saw where a national analyst for 247 has Derek Smith flipping to the Barn. I hope not but could happen.

BTW, I saw an interview with the Barn LB coach talking about recruiting and he said something to the effect that we want to own Alabama and we don't go to California to get our recruits. Obviously the Barn, as always, is participating in negative recruiting.

I don’t his specific situation but in the past dudes have definitely went to other places trying to recruit for another team. Sure his day would be awkward but that could be his plan if he’s there. Of course my best guess with him specifically is he has no plan lol.

The Barn coaches undoubtedly made him a priority not only as a potential flip BUT a Bama commit flip to boot! It's very personal with them regarding anything Crimson. If he flips, the auburn rankings will boost up thanks to two former Bama commits.

Creating more publicity/value for himself each time.

This reminds me of a DL we and everybody else was after in the second signing period a few years ago. It was the year when the early signing period started and Saban way underestimated that all the great ones would sign early and was left with some open slots that we were just trying to fill up with whoever was left. Anyway this kid was on a world tour getting all this attention and everybody hoping Bama would get him. And he was an average-good player. Ended up signing with UF, then transferring a couple times for playing time.

The point is, we'll pick up transfers if we don't get who we want in this signing class. Have a good year on the field this year, and they will line up.

I would assume a no-show since he just committed to the Barn. Bad flips in the last couple of days and we need some good news. Hearing Feagans is going to commit to the Barn later today also.
