I think that’s reason enough to get hyped for Michigan v. Alabama

1) Despite it not being our season goal, are you happy with the matchup:
-This is a big one for me. Mom’s side of the family is from Michigan. Ever since the L against them/Tom Brady in The Orange Bowl I’ve wanted blood every time

2) Are you going to attend?

- Sadly no

3) What concerns you about Michigan?
- I can’t speak to them personnel wise, haven’t seen them play a full game this season. Just hoping we show up ready, willing and prepared since this is outside of the playoffs

4) What is your take on Michigan this year?

- To me, Harbaugh continues to underachieve.

5) Favorite Bama- Michigan moment?

- 2012 CJ Mosley pick 6. Season opening game at Jerry World. He had an injury similar to Tua’s against LSU in BCS NC

6) Worst Bama-Michigan moment?

- Tom Brady coming back from 14 down us twice might be up there, but our 100 year itch of bad field goal kicking started in the Orange Bowl (has to repeat this one)

7) Most interesting matchup to see?

- Mac Jones vs Michigan D. interested to see if he can move the ball easily as he did in IB (minus the somewhat fluky turnovers)

8) Player most interested in seeing?

- Mac Jones, for reasons listed above

I do think motivation is a key for this game. I think it is a folly to just assume that goes for Alabama. I’d like to see two highly motivated teams out there but I’m going to assume that one team is gonna kinda airmail it. Alabama is talented enough on offense that their airmailing it will still end up looking more competitive than if Michigan no-shows.

It Michigan ain’t hungry for this one, it could be 2011 CapOne Bowl levels of ugly.

OR...
Shudder to think about Alabama VS Utah.
We had everything to lose. and not a lot to win.
(We lost)
We need to go into the Michigan Game with the right attitude, and we win.

I think we had the right attitude v. LSU and Auburn but it wasn’t enough. I hope they have the competitive spirit they demonstrated in those losses minus the lack of playmaking from the defense and the handful of critical mistakes on offense. If so, then yes, we will win.

Hmmmmm. Michigan: MORE wins and losses than Bama. Well, we do have more ties and remember a tie is like kissing your sister according to someone in the past.

Question: When did Michigan start playing FOOTBALL? Was it prior to football being played by an Alabama team?

I refuse to acknowledge any ncaa edicts when it comes to wins/losses. Those games were decided on the field and can't be reversed by an arbitrary stroke of a pen, by anyone. Therefore, Bama's all time record stands at 944-322-44.

Aren’t a lot of those (ancient) Michigan wins from games where they played high school teams?
I know one of their losses was at the hands of FCS Appalachian State🤣

Jones won’t score 40 by himself. Gonna take the entire offense. Defense is going to have to make a couple of plays especially in the 2nd half.

This game is up to our O line. If we will cut out the stupid penalties and sustain our blocks, we can score enough to win. Defense will just have to contain as well as possible.

For the younger posters, believe me, there was a time, a very different time, when the last thing we would worry about was whether or not Alabama would come to play. That was true for ANY game.

It wasn’t even that long ago. My undergrad was basically hoping the other guys didn’t show up and we got a few bounces

All I know is losing to both Tigers on our schedule stinks, so losing to Harbaugh and the Wolverines would be tough to take. I also know that I don't want to hear any crap about our players being flat because they didn't want to be there. If any players don't want to be there, leave their arses home. Let's get after Michigan's tail and bury them and leave a stupid look on Harbaugh's face.
"Leave a stupid look on Harbaugh's face"???? You REALLY said that???? Let me ask you a question young man.......And I have SEEN Harbaugh's face....ALL of them.....even if we DID leave a stupid look on his mug....how would we be able to tell?

Is this the first time we have played Michigan since Tom Brady beat us in 1999 or 2000 whenever it was?

since 2012

Oh, when he is getting his arse whipped, the look on his face is priceless. It is like he still tries to show arrogance because it can't be his fault that his team is losing, so the look of undeserved arrogance is akin to most UGA fans. That is what I am hoping to see from our bowl game because it certainly isn't meaningless to me.
