UPDATE:

Added Kurtiss Riggs to the off-field list. He is head coach of Sioux Falls' IFL team and a longtime friend/confidant of DeBoer.

Also, I'm told one of the AU 24/7 site's writers is now mentioning Travaris Robinson as the possible next DC. We can't call that one yet but like we said in the original post, you shouldn't consider the news of Robinson to Georgia as final yet.

When I first saw that he was being mentioned for DC I thought maybe Schumann might be leaving Georgia. Wishful thinking I guess.

Assuming Morrell comes as co-DC, Parker’s system fits pretty well to what Morrell does. Both ran Cover 4 more than any other coverage this past season. Would be a different system than our guys are used to but, Parker also runs a good bit of Cover 2 Man as well. (Morell ran cover 4 a lot more.)

George Teague talked about this on his podcast last night. I asked him a little more this morning. Not about to reach out tonight with the butt whoopin the Cowboys are taking this evening!

I don’t think TRob would stay in Tuscaloosa for anything short of the DC role. MAYBE a Co-DC role. Whether DeBoer would do that, I have no clue.

Given his own defensive performances and the need to keep Downs, I’d hope so. But you just don’t know.

Kirby offered Co-DC and Safeties coach. We need to beat that.

We were wanting TRob as our DC right before Nick retired. Hopefully, he told our new coach that TRob is the man for the job if he wants to compete at UA defensively and dude agreed. If Nick's recruiting him I like our chances.
