****Bama vs. LSU PostGame Thread****

In my mind, this was the most satisfying regular season win we've had since the 2010 Florida game. Complete domination in the 2nd half of the game.

I'm with you TideMom -- waited all day for this game & now that it's over, I'm too hyped too sleep! :)

ESPN: "It was the most points Alabama has scored against LSU since a 41-12 victory in 1947."

Last one and i'm turning in. Great game, it was fun

"Our Saban, who art in Tuscaloosa, hallowed be thy name. The preparation is done, the game will be won, on the road as in Bryant-Denny. Give us this day our daily motivation, and forgive us for leaving early, as we forgive you for considering Texas. Lead us not to 2nd place and deliver us from mediocrity. For thine is the Bear, and the running game. Forever and ever. Amen."

Derek Jeter at tonight's game. Phil Knight was also there donning Bama gear.

I think Va Tech and Duke are still alive in the other division. Duke beat Va Tech too.

VT is probably the only team that can possibly luck up and beat FSU. Duke doesn't have a chance, and Miami would lose worse the 2nd time around.

So, I'm hoping that it's VT and that QB plays the game of his life and the defense doesn't let FSU in the end zone.

UF has no chance of beating them unless the entire FSU roster comes down with a very bad virus and can't leave the outhouse, I mean locker room.

I just want to say this was the most fun I have had in a stadium since I was a student at BAMA. The upper deck South Endzone rocked all night, fans were polite and fun. What an awesome game to see in person! RTR!!

I thought it was totally classless how they treated Mett at the end of the game. Even during the timeout when he was limping around the water girl wouldn't even come and give a drink of water. No coach no trainer nobody. I don't if there was a rift but their likely will be now. What makes it worse the guy didn't play all that bad. He stood in the pocket tonight and made some tough throws only to get totally disrespected by his own team.

Thor 2 was a fun movie, on par with the first film. Then come on to a nice, VERY NICE, victory over the Swamp Kitties. My weekend is good, regardless of what happens with my Bears.

I cannot be the only one who thinks LSU hasn't been the same program since January 9, 2012. Since that day, that programs seems to be...well "off".

I had to work last night and didn't get home until 1:35 AM so I just finished watching the game. I haven't read the threads but really thought the coaches did a great job in this game. LSU's offense was clicking until Bama started hogging the ball with the run game. It was not a stellar night for the defense in spite of the score. I attribute this more to LSU playing well than our defense playing poorly. Mettenberger is an outstanding QB. I thought this game was one of those games where CNS would have won the game with the players from either sideline. LSU was better than I thought they would be. Props to Les Miles and his staff. These guys will be a tough out for years to come.

The offensive line and the running backs were extremely impressive from the get go. AJ seemed to be missing guys early but settled down and play another stellar game. I agree with CNS, AJ is the best QB in the country. There is no other QB anywhere who could play better at Alabama.

Game ball to the coaching staff for the adjustments at the half. TJ is a stud.

Awesome win.(particularly the second half play)Love the emotion after the game from the Sabanator and AJ.Well, 4 hours of sleep now off to work.RTR!:BigA:

CNS' jubilation at the end of the game speaks volumes. Had to be pleased with many things here. I think we're peaking at just about the right time for the last part of the season. Our OL was getting great push in the 2nd half making lanes for Kenyan and TJ. Teams generally don't have much success against the tigahs like that. Love it when we bust these guys in the mouth like we did last night. RTR

CNS made a statement last night (press conference) that intrigues me. He was asked about him jumping up in AJ's arms after the game. CNS responded with something like, Well AJ and I have been through a lot together, some of it you know about and some of it you don't....... I sure would like to have been a fly on the wall to see that, "some of it you don't".
