BCS Ranking Released

IMO Oregon > FSU. Marietta > Winston, Thomas > anyone FSU has…

Clemson was over rated (marquis win was UGA), and at the end of the day...they're Clemson.

PAC12 > ACC (not close)
Oregon sos > FSU sos

The only thing that keeps the Ducks from the bcsncg is a loss..

Most likely, yes.

I must disagree.

I look down the road and see Oregon playing a most likely still ranked UCLA, and let's not forget top 10 Stanford. If they go undefeated, I have no doubt they will jump FSU who will only play a ranked Miami. Even the Florida game at the end of the season is quickly losing it's luster. You can hope for the in-state upset to take them out...but......

If the Ducks win out, they deserve the shot. I don't like the offense and I hate the uniforms (sorry BamaBelle :) BUT the talent and the show they put on is impressive and has been consistent. I will be surprised if they make it through the next two weeks but if they do, they should start making reservations to watch the Ducks get processed and roasted in the National Championship game by the mighty mighty Crimson Tide!!!!!!!!!

This season? Sims. Next season? IMO, not very likely. Most think one of the young guys, either Alec Morris, Luke Del Rio, or Cooper Bateman will emerge as the next starter.

Incidentally, I was just thinking earlier today how Sims would be a great fit in Oregon's read option.
Common sense says Bateman, Del Rio, or Morris will eventually win the starting spot, and keeps our NFL Pro Style offense in place..With Blake Sims getting the call, when we pull the starters, and put in the 2nd & 3rd stringers, Coach Saban has giving Sims the reps, and may be evolving our offense into a more HUNH type offense..Even though our strong running game has been the foundation that's made us the most dominant football program, not only in the modern BCS Era, but the most dominant football in the history of the game itself..

Coach Saban may be sensing on the recruiting trail, what recruits are telling him what kinda offense they wanna play in, and if the majority Blue Chippers want to play in a HUNH style offense, we may be about to witness the "evolution" of Bama Football in the Coach Saban Era..That's not a bad thing either, cause it will attract a new style of offensive player to Bama, and if The Process has taught us one thing, talent usually wins out in college football..

I'm actually excited to see a different style of offense at Bama, if Coach Saban goes that route, and we will still remain a dominant football program, simply because as long as Coach Saban is at Bama, we will field a dominant D, and at the end of the day, that's what will continue winning us Championships at Bama..We will just have a diferent hurry up style offense..And I'm good with that..

Well OK, but will you do me a favor? Bring a pile of those "We Want Bama" shirts with you to the game. I'm running out of shop rags and I really need to replenish my supply. I'm getting really tired of having to re-use these old rags and I think some new green ones would be so cool!

There's only 0.0028 or so difference between FSU and OU. A bigger win helps that number. Opponents scoring hurts. This may have been the reason for the OU DC whineing about WSU throwing until the last tic of the clock.

Florida can still beat FSU. Va. Tech will win the ACC championship. This will pave the way for us to beat Baylor in the BCS championship game. Oregon goes down to either Stanford or UCLA.

Sims is our best running back and we could win with him even in our current offense. He would take of a lot.

I was thinking about this scenario also. I don't think Baylor can win out though.

Oregon guy, kudos to you for believing in your team and having the intestinal fortitude to remain civil and follow our policy in even while you are in *enemy* territory.

Personally, I hope the OSU pretenders faulter and the FSU for realers also fall to VT in the championship game and both of us win out so that this can be settled on the field ... otherwise the debate will never end ... see "if Colt wasn't hurt" if you don't get it.

Good luck to you guys, I hope we both win out. But if we bring our A game, it won't matter ... no offense intended as I think yall are awesome, but nobody can beat us except us. Yeah, I am as big a homer as you are :)

Thanks. Truth be told your team intimidates me. We'd need to go full throttle warp 9.5 and never let up. We can only win if we play an absolutely perfect game and force a turnover or two. That being said, if these teams do meet, I would want us to go up against nothing less than your A game. You would likely shut down our run game because of your size and speed. I think we would have to go air raid on you in order to pull it out, and rely on some magic from Mariota as well as some chaos from the extreme up tempo.

the margin is pretty tight anyway and FSU's only got Miami to bump it up any better. If Oregon wins out, they're in the BCSCG.

Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State and Florida State all finish the season undefeated and conference champs. If Bama is given one spot due to their champions status, who gets the other spot in the BCSNCG and why?

Wait a minute, I got to go get something.

It would be a great match-up of different philosophies in offensive footballs, and could be a determining factor of the future in college football, I think teams would follow suit of the winner between the winner of a Bama-Oregin NC Game..

If Bama wins, I think more teams would run more of a Pro Style smash moth type offense that's made Bama the "King Of The Hill" in college football(especially in the BCS Era) or if Oregon dethrones "The Process", I can see more team go to the HUNH offense, it could shift how teams run their offense & defense in college football, and become a more finesse Pac 10 type football ..I think it would be that important of a game..I may be exaggerating a tad bit, but, I really think it could a really important game in college football..
