If the Rock and Roll Hall can elect Lionel Richie and Cher, then we can allow The BanglesThese days, when the term " classic rock " is utilized, are first thoughts of the 80`s and 90`s with the majority of the board?
Yeah, all things do pass. It`s a shame. Great music and the " roots " of Rock. Those guys and gals had to make it on talent and God given ability alone. NO autotune or other electronic help for the most part. Granted, I`m an old guy and biased, and I don`t listen to today`s music, but for those who do and are familiar with artists like Elvis, Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke, the Righteous Brothers ( especially Bobby Hatfield ), Marvin Gaye, etc., etc, can anybody today simply stand on a stage with nothing but a microphone, an orchestra and maybe some backup singers and do what they did?If the Rock and Roll Hall can elect Lionel Richie and Cher, then we can allow The Bangles
As sad as it is to say, 60’s Rock is dying with its Age group. 70s are as well. I sell at multiple record shows every year, and now I sell Huey Lewis, Hall & Oates, and any new wave band, way more than I can sell the Kinks, the Who, Moody Blues or The Stones.
Dylan, Stones, and other 60s I can barely move. If it wasn’t for The Beatles, the decade is mostly forgotten. In fact, 50s lounge jazz sells much better. It’s crazy.
Cat of Nine Tails ?!?People who drive UNDER the speed limit in the left lane and clog traffic up for miles. They ought to be publicly flogged with the cat of nine tails.

Seems like I remember that group, but I can't think of any of their songs at the moment![]()
