I thought with the crowded field of big time openings and the Texas job potentially opening they might wait until December and that would be smart but after losing to a team led by Cutter Boley there really was no reason to wait any longer.

I sure as hell hope all those Auburn fans who were online 20 years ago - those who haven't given up all hope anyway - bang the drum for Mike Shula. Remember, these folks took to the internet and by a tune of about 87% thought Shula hadn't been given enough time and Alabama should keep him, he's a good coach.
