Yeah, or taking a dook. I think dookie and all its derivative usage is probably proper. I'm just happy we are finally able to have a conversation about dookie. I've had my doubts about the direction this country is headed, but I'm starting to regain confidence in the tolerance of this great nation, no homo. ;)

I'm not sure starving and dookie should be mentioned in the same post. ;)

Edit: Sorry I misread your post.

Seeing Al Sharpton and Ed Schultz talking about the state of the country reaffirms my belief that, in the end, only the cockroaches will survive.

I disagree! The rats will be there with the cockroaches. The rats may even be eating the cockroaches.

Have we heard a statistic on the number of "uh's" said by The Obama? Between his flailing arms and hands and his stuttering use of the non-existent word "uh," I didn't hear a word he had to say. Without his teleprompter, dude had nothing, which is a glaring description of the last four years. I did hear him say while referring to "Obamacare"..."I like the sound of that." Narcissistic idiot.

Obama got rolled, Mitt has a little "hope" now. :)

No he doesn't. This isn't like last election where you actually had people on the fence. I really don't think there's as many "on the fence" that debates are going to make that much of a difference. People for the most part have made up their minds and will vote accordingly come November. Get ready for Fo Mo years.

My students asked me, "What has President Obama accomplished in the last 4 years that is good for our country." I, trying to be non biased, just looked back at her and said, "That is a very opinionated thing. You might be walking to school and step in dog crap and think, dang that is a bad thing that happened to me this morning. Someone else might look at it as a positive thing. They might say, 'hey look, you stepped in dog crap and now you are walking slower, henceforth you are not going to pull your hamstring!' I'm sure there are good things that the President has accomplished, but unfortunately I am not a good person to ask that question to."

I honestly could not think of one good thing...sad!

I agree with you in general, however, supposedly there are 45% of voters who will vote for Obama no matter what and on the flipside about 42% who will vote for Romney. That leaves about 13% who will decide the election. Of that undecided segment of voters, the candidates not only have to earn their vote, but make sure they actually care enough to go out and vote.

Like always, I had a difficult time taking Obama seriously last night because his freakish, girlie, alien hands kept weirding me out. Then he spoke and couldn't make a cogent point that sounded like someone hadn't given him the talking points, and he was simply all over the place.

Romney did a good job. He was prepared, but not overly rehearsed in how he came across. His body language let me know he believes in himself and his message. I didn't care for his perpetual half-smile, but at least he wasn't smirking and staring at his podium too much.

I give this one to Romney.

This could be the thing that helps Mitt win every swing state in order to beat Obama. :) The only thing is Mitt seems to be hanging around and funny things happen on election day. If the Dems do not get out and vote like they did in 2008, Mitt might pull of the miracle.

I agree with you. I felt before the debate that the undecided (or the 13% that you call it) that will decide the election will probably not watch a debate and Obama will just walk away with this election. However, with Romney punking the President like he did, it might be hard for the undecided not to hear about this and tune in for Rounds #2 and #3. I think Romney sent a pretty strong message and the President was very unprepared for a guy that has had plenty of practice leading up to last night. He said all the right things that a middle class person wanted to hear, imo, and that's the backbone of that 13%.

The reason for the Obama performance?

Denver's altitude, says Al Gore.

"Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today — just a few hours before the debate started," Gore said on his network, Current. "Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet, and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know..."

What a bigoted, racist thing to say! ;)
