Things are always fluid as you know but yes that is the consensus is he will sign with us.Flip to us?
Funny but that is a clown show when you are showing up the in-state school he was projected to go to. Glad he did but....
Bama has signatures from the #1 player in Texas, #1 player in California and the #1 player in Florida.
Roll Tide.
But it's a weird day when we get that but none of the top 10 in Alabama which includes three 5 stars according to 247. Barn gets two of the five stars and six more in the top 10; Ohio St. and Oregon get the other two. You would at least like to see Bama get a couple of those. I always liked getting Alabama guys since they seem to know the history better and perhaps care a little more, something they can pass on to the rest of the team. We're going to have very little of that moving forward. A bunch of talented, out of state guys with no real ties to the state or school. Definitely not like the old days.Bama has signatures from the #1 player in Texas, #1 player in California and the #1 player in Florida.

Dude, I don't live on here and read every thread and post. Sorry if I offended you. I was just making an observation. Is it bad to want really talented kids raised in Alabama to play for the University? But that romantic idea of having folks playing with pride for the home school is dead and gone I suppose.I just can't with this kind of post anymore.
We have a better class than them, we will get guys who can play and we won't break the bank to do it, no matter their home state.
The biggest former player gumps i can think of are from Michigan and Kentucky
I agree long term this is an issue.
