**Fall Practice Thread**

Hope everything goes well for you in Tampa this week Tom... I wish you the best as I do with everyone who may be affected by this looming storm...
Latest news is its going way west, Mobile & west is most recent projections. But this a HUGE storm in size about 225 miles wide.
I get updates every 3 hours.had planned to send my Family to Alabama, we have a place in Anniston.
i appreciate the thoughts, but looks like we dodged one UNLESS it turns all of a sudden like Charlie did. Storms that start with an I are usually bad.

THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM ISAAC WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 19.0 NORTH LONGITUDE 73.3 WEST. ISAAC IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 14 MPH AND A WEST-NORTHWEST TO NORTHWEST MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WITH SOME INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED. ON THE FORECAST TRACK THE CENTER OF ISAAC WILL MOVE NEAR OR OVER EASTERN CUBA TODAY AND MOVE NEAR THE NORTH COAST OF CUBA TONIGHT AND APPROACH THE FLORIDA KEYS ON SUNDAY. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 60 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST AFTER ISAAC MOVES OVER EASTERN CUBA LATER TODAY AND ISAAC IS EXPECTED TO BECOME A HURRICANE ON SUNDAY. TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 230 MILES FROM THE CENTER. THE ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 992 MB. RANGE MARKS ON THE HURREVAC MODEL ARE 100 STATUTE MILES PER MARK. POLK COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT EOC WILL BE FOLLOWING THE PROGRESS OF TS ISAAC AND WILL ADVISE OF CHANGES, IF NECESSARY..

Wish I knew how to post pics, I get most detail shots from satellites & info from Hurricane Hunter.

In before the doors shut... After reading all of this thread as I was just a lurker at the time, I have never been so privy to this much pre season news about the Tide.... I for one do really thank everyone who participated to let me get some info that I would not normally get.... Game week is upon us and I am thankful that almost no controversy has come out of the Capstone... I know as young athletes have some wildness still in them and I know Coach Saban does a tremendous job of monitering... So my hat is off to Coach and the players who have gone about this practice so business like and kept their noses clean with the business at hand...

Very good comment. I'm hoping that this is a sign that our team really is focused in on having a great season.

We still have almost a full week of practice. :) We'll leave this open until Wed. or Thurs. and then open the season's first pregame thread...

Hooah. It's been a solid thread and as Forever mentioned, a pretty darn good off-season.

I can't speak for you guys and gals, but the upcoming game is practically dominating my thoughts at this point!

I do want to thank you personally... You seem to be very close to the Program, and I know there are some things that you can`t divulge, but what you have shared for us has been great info.... I guess that is why your the CHEESE!!!!

It's something I've been worrying about publicly now all summer - and taken a lot of abuse for... :D

I just had a link come across twitter from one of my Alabama feeds titled - Why Eddie Lacy will be a Heisman finalist in 2012. I thought that it must be an article from bleacher report and when I clicked it I had to laugh a little because thats exactly what it was.

I think it would be the coolest thing ever for AJ to be in the hunt.

I like EL but we have people on here that really know injuries and from their posts my hopes are not as high on him reaching that.

I think he plays, a lot but not carrying the rock as many times as needed.

That's sounds about right. I may not have power, but I'll be thinking of y'all. :biggrin2:

I was thinking "What! She's the ultimate empowered female!!" Then, I thought "Oh. Generator doesn't do much good when the sat's out. " If your phone network stays up, I'll text you...

Texting worked even after Katrina, so I have no doubt I'll at least have that ability. Our ISP is via AT&T, and tends to blink even during strong thunderstorms, so I imagine if Isaac comes ashore within 100 miles of here I'll be dependent upon what 3G signal I might be able to get on my phone. <sigh> I'm tired already. :(
