nothing will be discussed after the season he said he loves Auburn.

Re: NBC News: Several NCAA Assistant Coaches Arrested by FBI

Pearl has been involved with scandals and cheating pretty much everywhere he has been. Auburn is no different he will have them in trouble one way or another before he leaves.

Re: Yahoo Sports Article,FBI Investigation

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, this is the situation where he ended up sitting for the beginning of the season and also the staff member being fired beforehand. I'm assuming they got it rectified already but he's just still included in the FBI's overall findings because of what happened.

Didn't occur to me that it's the same violation. Makes sense though. Either way, nothing in this report is particularly disconcerting for either of our schools, and thank goodness for that.

Re: Yahoo Sports Article,FBI Investigation

You can blame all of this on the rules that don't allow high school coaches to be involved with AAU. All that you're dealing with there now are first class outlaws.

Re: Yahoo Sports Article,FBI Investigation

Main takeaway from the article - it only reinforces what Thamel wrote last week.

UA officials had no immediate comment on Friday but are expected to review the Yahoo Sports report, written by Pat Forde and Pete Thamel, for potential additional information.

Alabama coach Avery Johnson has a regularly scheduled press conference this afternoon before the Crimson Tide’s game against Arkansas on Saturday. This story will be updated.

Haven't read the whole thread, but my understanding is that his name appears on a spreadsheet of the players these agents recruited with meals, cars, $, whether the players agreed to sign with them or not. I would imagine our compliance dept. used due diligence to determine that this is not cause for concern.

Texas is withholding Eric Davis from competition now. No word on Kentucky and Knox yet.

Hope someone tells the committee to just ignore those two losses because they won’t be in the record books in about three years.
