How will *U beat Clemson?

Here's my prediction:

Auburn trails 48 - 42 with 5 seconds to go in the game and Clemson has the ball at the barn 10 yard line. Clemson just needs to snap the ball and take a knee. But there is a fumble on the snap. Every single Clemson player gets a hand on the ball...TWICE...before an barner finally scoops it up and runs the other way. He fumbles 4 times on his way to the endzone but recovers each time as the ball bounces right back into his hands. It appears he's taken down just over the goal line but the play is under review. And of course...the ruling on the field stands. TOUCHDOWN *U. The extra point is blocked but Clemson was offsides. They get a second try and this time the ball hits the left upright...falls and hits the crossbar...lays on the crossbar for 2 minutes before finally rolling over. IT'S GOOD! *U WINS 49 - 48!

All Chizik can say afterwards is "we practice for situations like this. It's a God thing! Praise be...AMEN and ALL IN!"
The game finds Clemson ahead 35-18 with 2:35 in the fourth quarter. The lucky barnyard animals will throw a 20yard pass on 4th and 18 and the refs will miss 5 holding penalties, 2 blocks in the back, and a trip on this same play where the receiver will fall down at the 1 yard line and stretch the ball across by the time the ref gets there only to declare a touchdown that can't be reviewed due to a power lapse in the review booth during the play. The boogs will become so fired up that They will then go on to convert 3 on sides kicks that lead to a final score of 38-35. Thank you.

I can't breathe from laughing so hard. The really BAD thing is I could see either of these happening......

Clemson had Auburn beat last year. They had the play called and everything in Ot or 2 Ot last year. Clemson passed on a play action and the QB hit his receiver right in the hands. He dropped it. Game over. At one point the camera panned on Coach Dabo before the ball was snapped for the last play, and he put his play card away and said We got em'. We got em'. And sure enough the had them. Till that kid dropped the ball. Anyone else remember?

Sure do.

Could this be the first weekend this season that the barn actually out gains an opponent? They have been out gained this season 979-745 in total yardage. Now in my DAILY argument with the barners on ESPN's message board, they are quick to point out they have play stronger competition (than BAMA). I will give them Utah State being better than Kent State, but Miss ST. ain't no Penn State. It's the same ole Miss State. They beat Memphis and looked impressive. Arkansas STATE beat Memphis this week (47-3).

My brother said it best. If the barn gets through South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida and LSU are are still undefeated we may have cause for concern. Until then the boogs need to continue to train their defense and that buzzard (spirit) which way to go.

Ofcourse!! We're a cow college! We have absolutely no talent, and god just watches over us.

I don't think that takes away the 2 GREEN W's on our schedule!!

Give credit when credit is due... Our players don't stop fighting at all.

i will they are better than i thought they would be...but then again, i don't think miss state is as good as i thought they would be either not by a long shot. i think auburn goes into columbia 4-0 and then will see what happens.

All Dabo has to do to get Clemson fired up is to show them the replay of last years game with Auburn. If all those cheap shots, late hits, and facemask grabbing by Auburn in the second half does not fire them up, then nothing will.

Clemson is a subpar team with a subpar HC in Dabo Sweeney. When he got the job I said he was in over his head, and I still feel that way. I keep waiting for Clemson people to get serious about their football like they were back in the early 80s, which by the way was the last time that they were relevant. I actually think the barn will wrap this one up before the final 2 mins...My prediction, in a game not as close as it's score--Barn 49, Clemson 35.

I think Auburn wins handily. 49 - 17. I really don't think it's going to be close.

Call me an optimist here, but when both teams with horrid defenses get together sometimes the home team comes out ahead. I know au can score in bunches, but since the game is away from their haven I can see them losing just because its time.

there is a reason why Clemson is favor. Vegas could have au favored or a pick em', but instead have Clemson -3. interesting indeed.
Yeah, the inexperience factor for AU's young players may come into play at Clemson. I think Clemson was probably looking ahead to the AU matchup while playing Wofford. Of course, that really shouldn't matter against Wofford. I wouldn't pick this game with money on the line.

I think I would take MSU to beat Penn St. I wasn't very impressed with PSU. They may win eight games in the Big 10, 11, 12.

I agree. With the exception of the liberty bowl game against the Nittany Lions in the late '50s, I've seen EVERY game that we've played against Penn St and I can say to a man that the team we played against on saturday was BY FAR the worst Joe Paterno team we've ever faced.

I agree with BamaQ in that *U continues to win in spite of the fact I want them to lose. With that said, I cannot pick Clemson to beat *U because Clemson is like Mississippi State a team cannot be trust to win a big game. I don't think the game will be a rout, but it want be close either....something like 31-14 is what I have in mind.

We all know LSU will stomp the luck out of *U, of this I have no doubt. But I think *U will have at least one loss heading into the game. I can't trust USCe to beat them, but Arkansas on the other hand has a chance for Burn to be crushed. *u defense can't stop Arkansas, nor do they have the offense to keep up with Razorbacks. I could see that game getting out of hand for Arkansas something like 47-17. Arkansas will soften them up, LSU will crush their souls, and we will get the leftovers.

You got it right dman, but IMO AU hangs over half a hundred on the tiggers. Getting over the half century mark will help their ranking.

Hate to break it to everyone, the University of Auburn NEVER loses. You may simply score more points than them, but even so, it, and all such things, will go down as a "win" in the moral victory column.

*uburn will be kicking a game winning field goal (on a 6th down) it will be blocked by Clemson then picked up by *uburn and fumbled 19 times all the time bouncing like a basketball into a different *U player hands. Eventually the kicker ends up with the ball trips over his own feet with no Clemson player within 10 yards. The refs throw a flag and declare tripping. *U gets the ball on the 1 yard line runs one play, a pass that bounces o all 22 players on the field, the all refs before landing back into the qb 's hands TD. Replay shows that *uburn had 10 players lined up offsides, but *uburn wins anyway.

I gave Miss. St. too much credit and missed on the outcome. I still think they were looking to L.S.U. Their luck won't last forever. I think Ark. and S.C. will get them.
