ABC had a nuclear expert on right after the attack and point blank asked “does this destroy Iran’s nuclear program”. He said “No, it just makes it more inevitable”. He made the case that at this point the Iranians most definitely have been putting them in small containers the size of scuba tanks and have been transporting them away from these facilities. They have enriched uranium and the experience. Destroying the facilities slows them down but unless Israel and the US want to track down every container and bomb a facility every time they pop up then all the Americans accomplished was delaying them a few years and giving them good reasoning to why they should have a nuclear weapon.I've read since that pix exist of 16 trucks lined up at Fordo before the attack. Maybe you can transport uranium gas in the centrifuge. That's beyond my knowledge. However, my gut feeling is that bad things happen if a centrifuge's operation is interrupted...
Basically he said the only way to prevent them from a weapon was diplomacy and strict international regulations, but Trump abandoning the Obama nuclear deal instead of expanding it forced the IR to go back to their original plans.
