I see that Ty seems to be nursing some kind of injury. I was hoping we might try to fine tune some of his downfield throws but would these be a game to let him rest on those throws.

Why have only one kicker on the roster? this is why you have more than one...competition and options if this happens

To be fair I know that most teams have multiple kicker on the roster but I don’t recall any team replacing a FG kicker in a game even when they are clearly shaky. For example, Pappanastos was hot garbage the entire NC game in 2017, everyone could feel the shank coming for what would have been the game winning kick, and he was never replaced. And that gave us 2nd and 26.
