There have been too many of almosts this year, but I sure am proud of this team and how they fight no matter the obstacles. Herb Jones really sucked it up tonight. These guys are giving me a heart attack...

Hard fought by the guys no complaints.Man what we could have been this season with a healthy roster it is what it is though..They are one of the best teams in the country and we handed it to them in Tuscaloosa and came oh so close tonight in their house. The future is bright.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
The reality is we just don't have enough dudes yet. We played them off their feet with a short roster. Imagine what it will be like when we have Quinnerly, Rojas, and a healthy Herb. Btw, what was the free throw differential tonight.
Auburn 26-39, Bama 9-16

But don't put too much stock into that. Bama avoided attacking the rim because of Wiley, and shot for volume from 3.

I cannot adequately state how proud I am of this team. To be short handed the way we are and playing a guy with one hand tonight and still almost pulled this one out. Spotted them 16 right off the bat, too. Very impressed with the team and CNO and staff.

I was flying home during the game. Landed with about 4 minutes left in regulation. Proud of the guys and how hard they fought.

That said, I climbed in the car and the radio happen to be on the Auburn broadcast. Sonny Smith doing color on their broadcast is awful. I understand being a “homer” but he takes it to the nth degree. Auburn hasn’t got call from an official since Naismith hung the first peach basket.

The guy should be an embarrassment to the Auburn faithful. But then again, they love them some Stan White so....

Do not want to face bama again. Oats about has us figured out.
Like, really. He game planned for us so well in our two matchups.

First game we mostly played man and got gashed all game. This time around we went matchup zone to prevent that and kept our elite rim protector inside, daring Bama to try it again. Bama instead shoots for volume from outside (percentage was 37%, so not too outrageously hot) and converted 59 perimeter shots into 66 points.

Bama is talented, albeit thin and injured with a hole here or there in the roster, but they're going to be scary good with the trajectory Oats has you on going forward. Hope we get a great coaching rivalry out of it.

Other those pulling off the upset, this game was a success. That sounds like what losers say when they talk about a moral victory, but for our program, at this point, we continue to show improvement and to play like that against a good team on the road in the SEC was a step forward.

I just can't wait till we are playing these games with a full CNO recruited roster!!! Fun times ahead.

TO's were way down, then lost it at the foul line. I guess being so undersized is also what's leading to how much we foul. That was an amazing come back at the end of regulation.
