I know X receivers are usually bigger, but he played X last year and didn’t get jammed, they couldn’t touch him. Yeah he needs to be outside. I understand with his gift , he could be a slot, but his natural fit is outside.
Yes sir. You’re correct.

I don't think yesterday really justifies any overreaction.

This isn't the first time that good teams have dropped early games to inferior opponents. Look at Notre Dame last year.

Offensively, I thought Ty was great. He had to deal with a lot of external factors weighing him down but when you consider that it's his first start since HS and the fact it's a hostile environment, he did fine. The O line did him no favors and nor did Grubb. I think if the O line can sort themselves out, we'll be fine because a lot of problems stemmed from that offensively.

Defensively, I was disappointed. I've never been sold on Wommack and I'm not any closer after that. The DL got bullied for the most part. I know TK is out but we have to be better than that. The linebackers also left a bit to be desired. It seems that Wommack still hasn't learned how to stop these dynamic running offenses. It felt like the Vandy game in a lot of ways. Just couldn't answer any of the offense's plays and we were constantly a step behind. The tackling was appalling which concerns me because those issues tend to carry over.

I'm not going to read too much into that result. It was FSU's natty after all. We've got some home games to sort ourselves out before we head to Athens. We'll be fine for the most part. Even if we end up like last year, I trust Simpson more than Milroe and it was Milroe's arm that cost us several games.
I get it, it’s just one game. But this one game looks exactly like the second half of last season. Actually, since halftime of the Georgia game. And the further away the team gets from the Saban era, the more undisciplined they become.

It's not that we lost. It's that we lost because we were totally unprepared, and showed any heart or anything in the game. FSU punched us in the nose, stole our jock straps, and kept laughing all the way to victory. I think this was the most unBAMAlike performance by BAMA that I've ever seen in my life.

In regards to Williams, he’s not or never will be able to work across the middle at his size. They talked about how much “bigger” he was than last year. 😂. Keep him outside and draw coverage his way and get people out of the box.
Speaking of Ryan Williams, any update on how he's doing?

Watching ND/Miami and Sean McDonough just reminded me that Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois at home and ended up making the title game

So the season is definitely not lost but I trust this team to lose less than 2 more games after what I saw yesterday? Absolutely not.
Yeah but their season wasn't even close to the competition we have yet to play...but there is hope...and that's what kills you

Alexander is another one. If I could get 81 to let me know what my income tax payment will be and selma, to give me a letter to send to the IRS, all things would be great for me. RTR.
Wait, What? we still have to pay taxes.

Let's not forget that we thrashed Missouri, emptied Death Valley at night and took care of Auburn comfortably.

I think defensively we have similar issues but offensively it's a little different.

It was always going to be hard to prepare for FSU. Practically a different team.

We were the inferior team. Nothing our team did outside of the first drive said we were the better team. We got physically and schematically dominated. What happened yesterday should send alarm bells throughout Bama nation. They had ALL OFFSEASON to prep for game one and thats what they rolled out there? We're in trouble...

This cant be emphasized enough.
Call me crazy but this team reminded me alot of 2024 FSU. Lost, no soul, no passion, not a clue where to go.
