You notice I said "possible". Even coming out of the USF game I believe I posted we were going to lose 3 to 4 games with the status quo (No improvement with Milroe). So he had break out games with marked improvement each and every game afterward. It's fine that after the season there are many that can say that he has hit a "ceiling", but that's all hindsight. If you are the coach and you see how he has won the team over and is improving, then you have to go with what's winning on the field. None of us has a crystal ball, just gut feelings. As a fan, I have to go with what the coaches see in practice and from their POV because they are with the players pretty much all of the time. You have to go with what's winning on the field today. All I hear is that QB X isn't getting a fair chance to prove himself! Do we know how QB X is doing in practice or the other intangibles that get you a starting job on the field? I'm not sure how many of us really know what goes into that decision. Other than Josh Pate, he knows everything!
