In fairness to Taylor, he reminded me of a border collie in the way he cordoned off Fairley from returning to the scrum.
I could have done without the jumping jacks, but it looked to me like a coach trying to keep his team's second-best player from doing something stupid, instead of doing something dirty that continually gets covered up by a loose interpretation of the rules.
At least four blatantly cheap, potentially game-changing shots and only one is called. If I'm Auburn, I not only love those odds, I would get on my knees in a hog lagoon and propose.
Then again, don't think the "World Isn't Watching," and don't think the SEC office hasn't heard about it, and will hear oh so much more in the coming 10 days.
An Iron Bowl prediction: Zebes will keep Fairley on a shorter leash. Either he will be playing on lower RPMs, or he will earn at least two late hit penalties/and or get thrown out of the game.
Either way, we benefit.
