Question: RE: Houndstooth Bar

Re: Houndstooth Bar

yep, i drained many a pitcher of beer in that hole in the wall when it was just in the right side. i remember thinking they were getting all uppity when they expanded the first time ;)

me too. First bar I went into in Tuscaloosa actually, my freshman year (88) went in and sat on the back patio and saw some acoustic guitar player and thought I was super cool, but actually scared to death the ABC would come in any time and bust me :)

Weird to see it like that

forgot about the ABC panic that occurred every weekend. as many nights as i spent on the strip in my 5 years there, i never once saw them, but i was always worried about them, at least until i turned 21. i was lucky i guess.

I used to work for ZAPS and nothing killed a party better than the ABC showing up.

I thought exactly the same thing, but it didn't take long to settle in to the expanded digs. The new place looks great, but a visit to the 'tooth won't be like going home anymore.

I wish I had a nickel for every pitcher I drank and every game of NTN trivia I played in that place.

WARPIG still rules!!!!!
