Hendrix says he will enter draft, but WILL NOT hire an agent so he can leave his options open for next season.
The NBA draft is only two rounds, and there are only 60 picks.
As do I . This year or next won't make any difference . He lacks the hops to play on the next level . A below the rim player , Caffey-esque IMO .And it looks like Cecil Hurt agrees with me...

Exploring , not heading .i just heard from someone down there who has talked to him and they said he is headed to the nba. don't know about hiring an agent or not.
Caffey had a short stint in "The League".....But it has changed a LOT since then.. A below the rim player , Caffey-esque IMO .

Caffey was short, but if memory serves, he had a fair share of highlight reel dunks in the pros. Caffey could get off the floor when he could get on the floor.
cmmiller711;828539 I got two words for everyone here who thinks Hendrix doesnt have the height to make it in the pros. Charles Barkley. [/QUOTE said:Puhleeze...... that was 20+ years ago. The woods are full of potential NBA players who are a little taller, jump a little higher, and can shoot a little better than RH.
He might make a good player in one of the European leagues, but it would be a huge upset for him to be a 1st-round NBA selection.
Richard can, however, be a great ambassador for UA basketball. He's well-spoken, and will get his degree in May after only three years here. I wish him well.

if he had went to north carolina, he would be more highly rated than Tyler Hansborough and very well could be up for national player of the year.
Sir Charles was/is a freak of nature. Not many 6-4/6-5 guys can out-jump most 6-10 or 6-11 NBA players. Richard can't even out-jump teammates Alonzo Gee (6-6) and Senario Hillman (6-2).
Tyler and Richard went head-to-head several times during AAU/HS All-Star games and again during last summer's Team-USA 18 & under team trials. Richard has come out on the short end of that competition every time.
Don't get me wrong. I love RH and think he's an excellent college player. I just think his weaknesses (height and jumping ability) will be magnified against NBA level competition and his strong points (strength and court awareness) will be equaled.
Both can dunk but , so can everyone esle . Caffey had more range on his shot and still couldn't stick .Caffey was short, but if memory serves, he had a fair share of highlight reel dunks in the pros. Caffey could get off the floor when he could get on the floor.
