i was watching the NFL Network (My 2nd Favorite Channel) and they showed the Playboy all ameican team and Roman Harper was there. He is getting a lot of preseason accolades. I have to ask was the photo shoot held at the mansion because if it was i know Roman ENJOYED.

If he was entertained at the Playboy Mansion...there's gotta be an NCAA violation there somewhere. Just kidding.

Senior free safety Roman Harper has 233 career tackles, 13th on the Tide's all-time list. He has a shot to become only the fifth Tide player to amass more than 300 career tackles, joining Wayne Davis (327), Thomas Boyd (324), Woodrow Lowe (315) and Marcus Spencer (303) on that elite list.

Harper really came on last year. He was making plays all over the field. I contribute a lot of that to having some consistency in the defensive schemes and having a better understanding of what is expected at his position. I look for this to be a banner year for both Harper and Peprah.

Harper humbled by 'Playboy' award

Prattville's Roman Harper considered it an honest mistake when he learned this week that he had been named to the 2005 Playboy All-America college football team.

The Alabama free safety became the third Crimson Tide player in as many years to be named to the prestigious preseason squad, but he said the reality of the honor hasn't sunk in just yet.

"I didn't believe it when they told me," he said. "I guess they got me confused with somebody else."

Roman Harper was named to Playboy pre-season All American team. Evidently he made a good impression during the visit.
