Roster Management

I don’t know who’s lead recruiter for Different players, but I have been impressed by the comments I’ve read from recruits about Hodgson. I know CNO said he was a good recruiter and this really seems to be the case. Between him and Pettway’s known recruiting ability, I am very excited about our staff and our chances to get high caliber players into the system. The future is looking bright!

If that is accurate about Bruner, does that mean we’re done? Since we moved on from Singleton, and the staff is not pursuing Nolley, my guess is that this wraps it up if Bruner does go elsewhere.

Muhammad is a guard I imagine we are done there. I would think if we did get one more ot would be a big.

Muhammad is a guard, but he would have to sit a year. So really he is a 2021 guy for us. Again, just because we don’t have room now, doesn’t mean that we won’t have room a few weeks from now.

Fun fact about Luther Muhammed. He is the player that Collin Sexton starred down at the FT line in HS.

Nice pick-up in Miles. I saw where we are up to #15 nationally now. I expect these type of runs in recruiting in football. It has been a very good two weeks.
This is a VERY solid class, we are currently ranked 4th in the sec behind uk, lsu, and arky. Loving it!

I have a friend of mine over here in GA who is involved in the AAU system and he is pretty impressed with what CNO is building at Bama. I've got him watching Bama bball and he talked about it quite a bit last season.
Yep it's a brand of basketball that can be successful, especially in the college ranks. And it's also a great prep for most pro teams as well. The more we see guys come in that can fit this system AND play under control...we will be a hard out for a majority of teams. If we as fans can have patience and give support, I can easily see CNO being the next great bball coach at Bama. It is going to take at least 3-4 years before we see an "consistant" impact on the program. Reason why I quoted consistant because we are poised to have a really good season next year due to the talent and maturity of the players. Even though we will have talent in 2022, most of the older players will be gone

Who was the last GREAT hoops coach?

Arguably Wimp ... Godfried had his moments but Wimp had the most success. We've had our share of success as a basketball program historically but its been a drought to say the least. The optimism is with what CNO has the capability to build here, we should be a consistent challenger for the SEC title and a consistent tourney team.
