Re: New Discussion Thread on Possible Coaching Changes...

I doubt Ms. Terry does....don't know about the daughter. I know nothing about her at all.
Why would Ms. Terry read this, or BOL, or Tider Insider, or any of the other forums online? Anything is possible, but it makes no sense to me, especially knowing how much CNS cares about all of it.
It could possibly serve as entertainment for her/them.

Kirk Herbstreit on rumors of Nick Saban coming to Texas: 'There's no chance' http://share.d-news.co/kUNi2Tg
I luv Kirk, but remember he guaranteed Les Miles to Michigan a few yrs ago. Major egg on face. Don't know why he'd know more than anyone else. Hope he's right though.

Don't know if this has been posted before - but the thought crossed my mind that these Texans tout that Austin is such a happening place (like Nick really cares about that) and so much bigger than Tuscaloosa. While that is true - it is also the capital of Texas. While UT football is big - it is not necessarily the center of the universe like it is in T-Town. Plus, Saban is pretty much the most well known citizen there. In Austin, he would be just one of the big fish in town. Not sure if that is important to him - but something he may think about.

Um, not sure what you mean. Do I exceed you in post count only or both count and IQ? I don't think you really want an IQ duel with me...
Earle...an "IQ duel" would be awesome...but I am on your team...I did mention, I believe in my 2nd post in this thread (maybe 3rd), that Sexton would "shop the Houston Texans" (yes, I quoted myself) and now ESPN just
mentioned that the "Houston Texans" will be shopped by Sexton on the behalf of Saban. I do not give a shart about being right...just passing on what I know.

Buzzard, I hardly think CNS is a victim here. Does anyone really think that Jimmy Sexton has gone rogue on the Sabans?
I'm not saying Saban is a victim. Finebaum was talking today that Jimmy Sexton is beginning to get under the skin of a lot of organizations in the NFL just like Drew Rosenhous (sp) did with his negotiation tactics. If Jimmy Sexton doesn't have any responsibility in it then why aren't these NFL teams getting mad at the player(s) he's representing? It is because they know the agent has a level of responsibility in the dealings. But no one is painting Saban as a victim.

Re: New Discussion Thread on Possible Coaching Changes...

LOL! I'm sure you're right. I took his post as a spoof, anyway. Actually, I've been told that Saban told JS to back off, that he'd overreached on a figure. I'm not really all that concerned about a salary figure. They're not going to go crazy and neither are we. However, the debt relief question is something altogether different. IF (big "IF"), Saban should move, I think that could be the deciding factor. It's got big tax implications, but they have boosters standing in rows who could totally bail the Sabans out of their sour investments...
Earle you are correct...Bama boosters will "bailout CNS" on the losses he incurred on the bad investment in Houston...utw had a package in place (30 mil "under the table" signing bonus from boosters) to "eliminate his losses"...

Who or what is the source of the 30 million under the table from Texas? Or where has that been said from a credible person or entity? Not saying it isn't true, just seems very unlikely.
