The SEC got 14 in the tournament. Vandy doesn’t sponsor softball so Missouri is the only one missing out.

Pleasantly surprised with the 15 seed- although the thought of POSSIBLY heading to Norman the following weekend is daunting. VA Tech will be a challenge though- we split with them in the regular season. As has been stated here all year, at our best we are a top 10 team-at our worst we are not close to a top 25 team. All that said- can't wait!!!

During the selection show they pointed out that Alabama is a team "that can create chaos" (I take that to mean we are inconsistent) BUT mentioned our team batting average last year was 250 and this year 320-I think if we had HALF or even 1/3 the errors we have this year we'd be in the top 8.
Bu, we've been to OKC 4 of last 5 years so hoping the May Magic kicks in.

After two complete in T-Town, there is no score between BAMA and Jackson State. Riley is pitching and is doing a great job so far. Our bats need to wake up a bit. We've hit a couple hard, but right at people. Going to the top of the 3rd.

Johnson grounds out to SS, Preuitt stays at 3rd, 2 down. Heivilin grounds thru the hole at 3rd, Preuitt scores, Heivilin safe at first. 1-0 BAMA. Heivilin steals second. Giles goes yard to left - but it's just foul. Giles walks. 2 on for BAMA. Hawkins doubles to the left center gap, 2 score. Ellistad singles to right, Hawkins scores. Ellistad to second. Hubbard grounds out to 3rd, inning over. BAMA up 4-0 after 3 complete.

The pitcher that was in threw 3 pitches - one hit the batter, the next two were wild pitches. Ellestad flies out to CF, Hawkins scores, 7-0 BAMA. Fly out to RF. Pupillo pinch hitting for Duchsherer. Pupillo walks, hit by pitch on what would have been ball 4. Preuitt singles to CF, Pupillo stops at 2nd, 2 on, 2 out for BAMA. Vandagriff walks, bases loaded, 2 down. If we score, game will be over. White at the plate. Ball 1. Ball 2. Strike 1. Ball gets away from the catcher, Pupillo scores from 3rd. Ball game. BAMA wins 8-0.
