Is Trump a communist or a Nazi? They need to pick one or the other because both ideologies are basically diametrically opposed to each other.

Are they really? I keep hearing this, but they're both highly authoritarian. Citizens have little, if any, personal rights and are expected to serve state above all else. Freedom of the press, speech, religion, etc. isn't a thing. Dissent is met with force. Economies are more or less centrally controlled. I could go on and on about the similarities. I think they are a lot closer to each other than either is to a liberal democracy / republic. People tend to think of fascism on one side of the political spectrum and communism on the other. I think reality is you have anarchy on one side of the spectrum and authoritarianism on the other. Both of these philosophies are WAY on the authoritarian side of that spectrum.

I hate this kind of nonsense. Unless you have some definitive proof of widespread and meaningful fraud, why cast doubt on the validity of our elections? Just wishing for a different outcome isn’t nearly enough.

I don't think 2020 or 2024 either one was fraudulent... And agree 100% on proving the fraud.

- Refuse to stand up for a kid with cancer.

- Get fired for cheering political assassinations.

- Mock the victims of a school shooting for praying.

- Overdose on Tylenol to spite Trump and Bobby Kennedy.

You push people to the extreme you will get extreme pushback-response. We are ridiculing the response and not addressing extreme gaslighting that is igniting these responses.

WASHINGTON — Rep. Cleo Fields bought thousands of dollars' worth of Oracle stock in the days before the Trump administration announced that the company would be playing a role in the pending U.S. spinoff of TikTok from Chinese company ByteDance, NOTUS reports.

According to a congressional financial disclosure document reviewed by the outlet on Wednesday, Fields, a Democrat, bought between $80,000 and $200,000 worth of Oracle shares across three different trades on Sept. 17, 18 and 23.

Found this conversation between Ta Nehisi Coates and Ezra Klein interesting. They don't really say anything profound but to me this is a good representation of where the Democratic party is in some ways and the internal struggle that is clearly taking place.

Trump has really uprooted a lot of strongly held beliefs/views of the world specifically for white liberals. You can see Ezra Klein struggling through it and arguably even grieving it.

Anyway it's a long conversation with no real resolution but I still found it interesting
