If a lot of the posts on here are accurate, TT is the "glue" that would hold their current class together. If accurate, what`s his schtick? Is it just pure personality (hip, cool, "street cred"?)? Can`t be coaching ability, I assume.

My comments on Trooper Taylor are not suitable for a message board. With his hat backwards, dancing and waving his towel, he is who you think he is.

He knows where Jimmy Hoffa is buried and all the skeletons are for the Barn. If he is jobless, he might spill the beans on certain happenings on the plains. Next up, black helicopters. ;)

Shouldn't this be on the football board? Just asking?

Well, I asked the question on this forum only because he was brought up by others on this forum as he relates to Auburn recruits and their likelihood (or not) to flip.

You are right! TT had a very questionable reputation while on Rocky Flop (I'm being kind) and he has done nothing at the Barn to say he has changed his modus operandi.

I have a friend who is a UT grad that I work with here and he straight up told me he'd be happy if UT brought him back. He wasn't joking either. I think my friend might know about a few bones buried for UT if he is OK with this thing going back there to "coach".

Magic cheating is what he does. He's the bag man. Period. He knows where all the bodies are buried and I'd be willing to bet he's let it be known he's not going quietly into the night. He'll be paid very generously when he goes.

I was just reading on another board where there are posts saying Trooper, Luper and Porn Stache are all staying and were working the phones today calling recruits telling them everything is gonna be ok..lol

They've always paid on a systematic basis, established salary range per game, plus incentives etc. The four guys on TV were telling the truth. It stands to reason that someone familiar with the scheme would stay on to implement it and hold things together. I'd heard that Luper and Van Gorder were gone. There wouldn't be any purpose in their staying to hold their salary structure together...

If the new hire HAS to retain these guys in order to get the job, they will NOT get a top-notch coach.

Gene Chizik Part II

Petrino is the only one desperate enough to take the job under those conditions.

Would Malzahn? Maybe.....

Neither coach will strike fear into the hearts of opponents, that's for sure!

Has anyone ever heard of a major university requiring that a new, incoming head coach be shackled with assistants from the previous regime? May have happened but I can`t recall. If indeed that occurs, one is limited only by one`s imagination as to how and why that would occur. The only way, IMHO, that they turn it around is to clean house, fork over a ton of bucks, and give somebody the keys to the whole shootin` match. Needless to say, a stunningly dramatic departure in culture for the "fambly"!
