What's it like having seniors playing meaningful snaps? Someone help me because it's been so long I've forgot.
2016: OJ Howard, Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster all came back, maybe one more, can't remember.

Yeah that’s right. We had all kinds of returning JRs that year. It’s a shame it didn’t work out with a championship.Eddie Jackson, Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams
Yep I think that was the 2016 season we had "alpha" seniors if I'm correctYup and they won the CFP. Remember when Jonathan Allen came back?
I'm guessing this is about Tua? Cool...but Justin Herbert? Not buying a ticket if that cat's slinging it in my back yard...I assume, at the end of the day will decide to go.
However, some guys do stay, even when projected to go very high.
The Manning brothers, Matt Leinart.
Justin Herbert came back, he probably needed to stay and get better though.
Family financial situations will probably factor in.
IDK, i expect he will go, but there's a chance he stays and trys to finish on a high note.
Was listening to a podcast by Gary Harris today from yesterday I believe? And They were saying that there is going to be some pleasant surprises in terms of our Jrs staying around for next season. This isn't for darned certain of course, but they even mentioned that McMillon is looking good for another year as the case for another year has a good chance of being granted. Also said they "think" that Moses may return. Not sure if that belief is based on conversations or rumor..but it would sure be great to have LBs that know what to do.I'm guessing this is about Tua? Tua has a freakish ability to see the field and throw receivers open. Burrow is talented, but in a more typical QB way. If Tua were not an injury risk, he would be considered the best QB prospect of his generation.FWIW, according to the ESPN draft guys Tua is still seen as the better QB than Burrow by NFL guys but the injury just makes it more complicated.

Burrow at this stage has shown to be the more durable quarterback and has shown enough that if I'm an owner I'd take him over Tua. Is Tua the more talented QB? Probably. But being more talented doesn't amount to a hill of beans on IR.
He also feels pressure and moves around effectively both within the pocket and outside of the pocket to avoid pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. While Tua also does those things, he does not throw the ball away when it becomes clear that the play is dead - Burrow does.Burrow at this stage has shown to be the more durable quarterback and has shown enough that if I'm an owner I'd take him over Tua. I don't think he can. IIRC correctly, there is a small window (1 week) in which someone can withdraw their name from consideration, but that's it.If he were to declare for the draft in January could he change his mind a couple months later if his healing hasn't progressed well enough and return to college? This question may have already been addressed but I can't recall if it has.
I would love for Tua to come back but would like to make sure Bryce Young still signs and stays 3-4 years at Bama, since he is the future (at least we all think he is). Tua returning would probably affect Taulia's playing time if Mac stays and Bryce is as good as advertised. Also, if Tua leaves, will Taulia and family all move to where he is drafted? It will be an interesting next few months.
If Tua offers to come back, you take Tua back, no questions asked, and I don't care how it affects anyone else's playing time, period. I'm sorry -- I've been on the record to say if it were my son, I'd advise him to go ahead and enroll in the draft. But if Tua believes he has unfinished business here, if he has proper insurance, if his family's blessing is important to him and he has it, why would we NOT want him back? Because it affects someone's playing time? Oh my gosh... He's the most talented quarterback we've ever had. His presence alone makes us the favorite in the SEC West no matter what LSU or anyone else does. I just don't understand some people. I get the future, but my goodness. It's one season.
There is nothing more that I would like than to see Tua suited up in crimson next season but I truly fear for the guy getting hurt. In his basically only two full seasons he has played he has had two ankle surgeries and a hip surgery. What is next? Torn ACL surgery in a knee?
