Question: Who's the Next Commit?

With all the rumors flying around I figure I would just start this thread and help keep the individual threads on target. If you have any info or updates please post here.

H Poggi appears to maybe commit this weekend if internet chatter is true and Bootd is saying he will. He has been money as of late so we will see.

M Thomas is also said to be possibly commiting, but not sure if he visited last weekend. If he does Miami fans will have a meltdown.

J McNeil seems to be ours and would not be surprised if he commits next weekend on his visit

D Henry will visit on June 8th and if he is decommiting it will happen shortly agter.

R Ferguson(QB) is still planning on throwing at camp the weekend of the 8th. If we are still wanting 2 QBs in this class as been mentioned and Bateman knew that it sounds like if he gets an offer he will commit.

R Foster will camp July 8th. But will commit probably after taking his visits in the fall. But some think he could pull the triggeron his July visit.

R Nkemdichee is planning on taken 3 more visits this summer including UA, Clemson, and LSU. Said he will not visit Ole Miss again. Once to take one more look before deciding, which will happen in August or before as of right now. But we have learned that may change.

D Walker will announce in August at the moment.

These are 8 players I would watch for that UA seems to be leading for and may commit to UA by summers end.

I'm going with Henry Poggi or Matthew Thomas. Poggi came away very impressed on his visit a couple of weeks ago. Thomas has also said he may be dropping Miami from his top five soon. Then there's Josh McNeil. He's visiting next weekend.

Boots said three or four weeks ago Poggi would be the next commit. He wasn't. Boots normally has good info, and I hope he is right other than the time table.

Nkemdiche is ours no more will be said. He is just taking visits.

Walker basically went out window when Allen committed by what most think

I wouldn't count on another qb.

Foster if he leaves PA it will be for us.

If the McNeil rumors are true then I guess UA is out for Hunter Henry which is a shame b/c I really like him but McNeil is an excellent option too

Henry I have heard was always Arks and he has the offensive weapons but no the blocking ability or athletic ability that McNeil and Howard have IMO.

yeah McNeil brings much more upsides and athleticism to table. he is still learning the position.

McNeil seems like a true TE which is a good thing whereas Henry seems like he could play multiple positions. I believe that McNeil has more upside. I'm not convinced on Howard's blocking ability just yet so we need a TE in this class that can manhandle if needed. That would be McNeil.

JUCO OT Leon Brown will visit in the next week before his summer classes start on June 12th. He will be coming with his mother. By the way coach makes it sound UA is in the drivers seat and if we would take it he would probably commit during the visit.

Possibly Josh McNeil, ESPN is saying he will announce his commitment sometime during The Opening events in Portland from July 3 to 7. It supposed to be down to two. Hoping he's packing bags for Tuscaloosa rather than Athens.

McNeil is a good guess but I'm getting concerned GA is in his ear about us having OJ since we were his leader for awhile and he now says it's us and GA. I hope he decides to join us. I believe there were several players that may announce at The Opening and I had heard Robert Foster would announce. I hope he pulls the trigger for us also.

UGA does not concern me as much as before. Not saying that he is a lock, just saying they were all excited about thier chances a few weeks ago and he was suppose to visit for their last camp. He was a no show. FWIW

Good to hear about the camp no show, that is pretty telling.

His comments about his UGA recruiting coach are what worry me. He seems like he really likes Georgia. I don't believe they have a TE committed, unlike Alabama.
