Pro-ObamaCare Supporter bites off finger of Anti-ObamaCare Protestor

A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.

The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker's pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles, who attended the rally.

The man took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment. Doctors reattached the finger, which was said to have been severed in half. He has since been released, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Someone from the Pro-ObamaCare side, posted a picof the Anti-ObamaCare side. Honestly, there is no reason why this dude had to walk through the Anti-ObamaCare side. Both are in the wrong but (without knowing what was said) it sounds like the Pro-ObamaCare guy was trying to start something by walking through the group.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department does not have a suspect at this time and does not know whether or not the suspect was a member of MoveOn.org.

“It’s considered a mayhem which is the removal of an appendage from a human,” said Norris of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. “The crime is punishable by imprisonment for 2, 4, or 8 years.”

I heard about this on the radio from the man who rescued the finger and took it to the hospital where the older man had gone.

Did any of you notice that the pro Obamacare guy came over to the anti-Obamacare group and picked on an older man wearing glasses? Huh??? There were younger and bigger guys he COULD have picked on. Shows how brave these lefties really are.

I thought the first version seemed a bit odd when talking of "...a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side..." and "The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive..."

From what I understand, the initial eyewitness story was from a MoveOn.org member on the (obviously) pro-ObamaCare side.
