Fair enough.
On that front, something I think everyone should keep in mind is that all of the evidence that has been presented to the public alleging even the abuse by Zach Smith and, especially, Meyer's knowledge of it has been presented by a single source - with an obvious agenda against Meyer - in a wholly unverifiable format.
Add to that the apparent holes in that story, the records of police involvement, and the opposition to that story by even Courtney Smith's own mother and anyone that hasn't been directly involved in the situation for years who believes they know enough to come to a judgment on this matter is simply believing what they want to believe.
At this point, none of us can say whether...
A) Zach was abusing his wife for years, Urban knew about it, and even lent Zach a helping hand on occasion;
B) Zach never intentionally abused his wife, his wife was making all of this stuff up, and Urban knew she was just a crazy loon; or
C) the truth is somewhere in the middle and perhaps no one but Meyer himself really knows what he knew, suspected, and/or did about the situation.
The problem is that most people have such an innate fear of the unknown that they simply cannot abide not knowing and must, therefore, jump to a conclusion as quickly as possible irrespective of whether the known facts exist to support any conclusion.
