Is there a scenario where we still back into the playoffs?

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

The Big 12 is getting one team in.

There will be one group of 5 team in.

The ACC will get no more than 2 teams in.

Notre Dame is in.

That leaves 7 spots for the Big Ten and SEC.

Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and Indiana are likely in.

Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee are in.

I don’t see a spot for Alabama….

I think Miami is in regardless. The committee seems to really like them.
But how are they any different than 2 loss Arizona St or BYU, both of whom the committee has firmly outside the top 12? None of the 3 teams have beaten anyone.i think Miami gets the same treatment.

I agree, a 2 loss Miami is getting in over a 3 loss, Alabama.

Alabama only gets in if the ACC only gets one team in. Indiana is not going to lose to Purdue.

Is she your wife? 😊

No, and over the last four decades (I'll keep it off NS) she has.....gone WAAAYYYY out there.....

(My son came across my prom photo one night and showed it to me and said, "That's NOT Mom!!!")

Miami has not played a single ranked team this season. SMU has only played one, and that was BYU (and they lost that game). The ACC is a joke.

Clemson played 2 SEC teams this year, UGA and USC, and lost to both of them. Bama beat both of those teams.

The grind of having to play other SEC teams every single week is brutal.
