Judging from from previous blow ups and some sideline antics he's beyond pouting when it doesn't work out for him. It would be nice if that's all he did.

I guess the good thing is that Coach DeBoer has already demonstrated that he can make the tough calls to dismiss parts of the program that are not measuring up.
I was saddened when Coach Shula could not do that with Bucket Step Bob, (glad in hindsight that it resulted in the hiring of Coach Saban), but Shula could not make that tough call, even after years on the job.

I’m inclined to believe it’s the latter, but Sheridan’s history as an OC is ominous at best.

He will probably go back to Wisconsin............other tough decisions need to be made, but it remains to be seen how those will play out

There's more out there than only Grubb.

I think Grubb coming to call plays was part of the initial excitement with Deboer coming aboard. It was obvious Grubb covered up a lot of possible weaknesses for Deboer on the offensive side, some shortcomings we saw come together this year's offense.

Couple of things to keep in mind...

1- we have no idea if Sheridan will be the OC next season or not.

2- and I know this is a tough one to swallow, but CKD (and you can include basically every P4 coach in this) has forgotten more about coaching, managing young men, etc. than anyone here will ever know. I suspect those who will elucidate for pages about what CKD should or shouldn't be doing would end up softly saying "Oh..." if they got to sit with him and hear his explanation of all that goes into these decisions.

We're all fans, many of us die-hard, but acting as if CKD doesn't have more riding on the line when it's literally his career rather than what we like to discuss as fans is a bit silly.

Be patient, let the man work. He knows FAR more about what he's doing than any 100 of us combined do.
