LSU vs MSU Game thread

Miss State looks pretty good on defense, but their offense is average to poor. Playing against LSU's tough D doesn't help.

LSU doesn't look as sharp as I expected, but they have so, so much talent. Once their QB settles down and gets a few games under his belt, they'll start to click better. The defense looks as good as advertised -- 4 INT's in the first half!

Final score will be close to what I expected. Something like 34-3 LSU.

That QB,man I feel sorry for him....

I thought I recognized that O-line technique...got it from studying our film, did they?;)

Oh ya. I forgot that one. :rolleye2: They probably ate ice cream all summer and watched TV when they were supposed to be lifting. It would not surprise me to find out that CMS visited a couple of MSts practices providing his input and guidance considering the close relationship btwn himself and Coach Croom.

Im sorry, some of yall are well...

One of the worst LSU performances in a while and they are up 17-0 at half...to the team we lost to last year. Top say we would beat them based on that half is ridiculous.

...1st Q had me looking for the salt shaker----something to help me get down all that crow I was about to have to eat...more like expected in 2nd Q...expect the wheels to come off about 1:00 into the 3rd Q for Bulldogs...

...Shouldn't the MSU QB wear purple and gold, since he is obviously playing for LSU?;)

Crow and Mushroom Stew

3 crows
1 Tbsp lard/shortening
1 pint stock or gravy
2 Tbsp cream
1/2 cup mushrooms
salt and pepper
cayenne pepper

Clean and cut crows into small portions and let them cook a short time in the lard/shortening in a saucepan, being careful not to brown them.
Next, add to the contents of the pan, the stock or gravy, and salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
Simmer 1 hour, or until tender, add mushrooms, simmer 10 minutes more and then stir in cream.
Arrange the mushrooms around the crows on a hot platter.

LSU doesn't impress me at all- if Miss St had a decent QB they would definitely give LSU fits and be in this game. The Bulldog defense is playing to win, but their QB is blowing it. LSU will win but I think the SEC west is wide open. And oh yeah, Flynn can't wear JR shoes. While LSU may be playing a bit conservative, Miss St. is getting pressure on Flynn pretty good.
LSU= Overated.
