I really hate to hear this. I never watched him play because he was just before my time, but I've seen plenty of highlights and replays. Regardless he and his family are in my prayers.

I hate to hear this news as I would with anyone regardless if they are a former player or just an average person on the street. KG will always be one of my favorite all-time players at Bama. What he did in a short amount of time near the end of his freshman year and the first game of his sophomore year were incredible. I hope they find a cure for this disease quickly and that KG will be cured.

Wow. Just goes to show disease and injury doesn't discriminate. This man is one of the all time greats to come through UA. I was fortunate enough to watch during his time at Bama. If anyone can handle this with grace and dignity it's Mr. Kerry Goode.
