UA - OM Postgame Thread...

I see it's illegal to criticize or complain nowadays.

That being the case, there is nothing to say about that performance. I guess complaining about the refs is the purpose of this thread.

Honest questions that Id like a REAL answer to.

1. Is there a place, a website or anywhere else to find a card list of who the official referees are for whom and what game in each conference and each game of the year in ncaa basketball?

2. Who is in charge of these ncaa basketball referees and where do they reside?

3. How do you contact these people?

I think Engstrom injured himself more under the basket when he went up for the tip-in.

A lot of our playmakers are playing "flat footed" out there over the past 2 games.

No it is not, but there are a few on here that don't show up regularly and when they do it is only to complain.

I think not having a full rotation during that stretch, coupled with the ongoing sickness has caused some of that. Unfortunately that doesn't bode well for tournament play if we are gassed now...

We did make too many stupid mistakes, and we didn't play typical Bama D in the final 10 minutes, which really hurt us. Obviously the officiating was less than stellar, probably one of the worst I've seen all year. But even with the horrible refs, we should have still won.

We were the more talented team but we came out sloppy/uninspired and we didn't do ourselves any favors in the second half when we missed some 6 foot floaters, threw the ball away and didn't look for the outlet pass on more than one occasion.

I hate losing, but I especially hate losing when I know we could have won if we had just given maximum effort.

They put up the perfect blueprint for people to use though. If someone can press the inbound, then back into zone we get sniffled. If you can get it inside, our bigs seem to get into a ton of foul trouble. The lack of officiating was made up for by Mississippi shooting under 40% from the line...

Ugh. Any opposing coach that doesn't play zone against us should be fired. Our lack of perimeter shooting is frustrated me to the point of almost not wanting to watch us play.

Really think that there was a lot of phantom fouls underneath!

I missed the first half and saw that the refs weren't good in the second. My point was that it's difficult for big guys not to bump each other when that close.

To me that's Basketball and part of the game. If were called the same on the other end where we were double and triple teamed down low I wouldn't complain.

I agree. The refs have to call the game evenly. If they're going to be horrible, they should be horrible to both teams.
