With Tennessee winning, we lost our first round bye in the SEC Tournament.
I see it's illegal to criticize or complain nowadays.
That being the case, there is nothing to say about that performance. I guess complaining about the refs is the purpose of this thread.
I think Engstrom injured himself more under the basket when he went up for the tip-in.
A lot of our playmakers are playing "flat footed" out there over the past 2 games.
A BIG part of me kind of hopes we miss the tournament again. With more pathetic performances like this in our future, it would be very embarassing.
They put up the perfect blueprint for people to use though. If someone can press the inbound, then back into zone we get sniffled. If you can get it inside, our bigs seem to get into a ton of foul trouble. The lack of officiating was made up for by Mississippi shooting under 40% from the line...
A lot of times fouls in the paint/under the goal are like holding penalties - happens all the time but isn't always called.Really think that there was a lot of phantom fouls underneath!

I missed the first half and saw that the refs weren't good in the second. My point was that it's difficult for big guys not to bump each other when that close.Saw a lot of nothing on replays.

I agree. The refs have to call the game evenly. If they're going to be horrible, they should be horrible to both teams. To me that's Basketball and part of the game. If were called the same on the other end where we were double and triple teamed down low I wouldn't complain.
