I could take more of this weather. It's 72 here on the mountain and the high was 78 yesterday. Low this morning was 61...

The same front pushed through down here. First low temp below 80 in a while (78). It's about 100F right now, but the dewpoint is about 50-55F. It's not bad in the shade. The wind will turn tomorrow from the south and we'll back up to the 80F dewpoint range.

There is some evidence of potential tropical activity in the western gulf next week.

We're expecting slow warming also. It was only 74 today up here, a few degrees more in the valley. I think 81 was forecast...

58 this morning in West Des Moines. But never fear, supposed to be in the 100s by tomorrow, and thru most of next week. But it was nice to have early Fall temps to give me something to look forward to.

cat 4 now, don't worry though this is perfectly normal

saying that SoCal will get their average years worth of rain over the next 3-4 days.

Installed a window AC in my garage this morning. 1 hour job and should have done it years ago.

Eventually it will have a mini-split but for now this helps.
