I was just watching some video's of 5 star (some say best in country) Yeldon and of three star recruit Justin Taylor who I am more familiar with since he has been on board longer. Justin strongly reminds of three star recruit Mark Ingram. He is squared, powerful, low center of gravity and can mow you over or slip tackles with ease. This guy might be underrated and I feel bad about the knee. If this had not occurred, he is of quality to be THE back of any signing class.
Yeldon is a bit different than the Emmit Smith norm we have had recently. Trent, Lacy and Ingram are all roughly 5'10 210. Yeldons 6"2 195+ pounds of speed and power will be refreshing, especially with a Ingram, Trent type back on the platoon. Dee Hart is going to be our all purpose man I believe.
Here are two videos of highlights from each. I know that Yeldon showed that he can be ready as a freshman with his 3 TD 100+ game in the Bama Miss all star, which is basically college athletes.
You an see how little difference stars make sometimes and how hard it is to judge a back sometimes unless he's Barry Sanders
Yeldon 5 star
Taylor 3 star
