Dylan Moses Returning

So, ESPN actually spoke with Dylan's father. Give this a read: ESPN Article

A key excerpt makes it look like they are trying to be sure that Dylan gets adequate LOV insurance in place before he decides.

Meant to also add this quote:
The statement goes on to say that Edward Moses Jr. was representing his son during negotiations with Alabama "to insure and to secure the proper protections for his return back to the University of Alabama's football team for his senior season."

At the risk of going way off track and waaaaay out of my realm of expertise - I think some people are just strange and seek attention - not actually mentally ill. I would never call anyone with diagnosed mental illness (bi-polar, depression, OCD, etc) a nut ball. Look at us, we're enjoying spending time conversing with somewhat strangers on a college football board. For me, it's not even about a school I cared about until 4 years ago. Maybe I'm the nut ball. :ROFLMAO:
Brother..you have way too much class to be assigned any classification near 'Nutball'

Also, the ESPN article makes it clear that Dylan posted the piece written by his father, so Dylan is cool with the way it was worded.

Time to stop, guys.

Given the astronomical sums of money involved, I don’t blame Moses or anyone else for wanting to insure the full value of their future as it stands today. I don’t think anyone on TF does, either.

Next post mentioning Dylan Moses’s father in any context other than his son’s representative gets this thread locked.

Interesting. Sounds like he's probably coming back still. Regardless I hope whatever decision he comes to it's what he really wants.

I do, if Alabama will pay for a really good LOV policy. If Alabama will not, he is gone.

Didnt y’all say Bama doesn’t or hasn’t paid for LOV premiums previously? If so and he paid for the last one - that premium money is gone if he returns. I wonder if he can request that Alabama pays not only for this years policy, but the last one too.

I think LOV is in the works already but seems like Daddy Moses in his unique way is holding Alabama accountable to get it done sooner rather than later. They will declare on the 20th if not satisfied (likely a renewal of the insurance)

The Alabama AD said that they did not buy Tua a LOV policy and explained why. He did not say if this was a long standing policy, or if extended beyond Tua.

That is exactly how I read it. Get this done and Dylan stays. Don't, and he is gone.

BTW, this probably extends to all of the juniors. Alabama is going to have to do this whether they like it or not. The money is there. Spend it or watch some of these guys walk.

While it's expensive, it's probably the best thing to do...…...…….they have the cabbage

How much is a national title worth to the University? Probably a fair bit more than taking LOVs out for all these draft eligible juniors with high value.

I agree. Bama has the money. Just do it like Clemson and some other schools do. I guess it’s up to the AD and not Saban .

When the LOV discussion regarding Tua came up, wasn’t it shown that schools have a limited pool of money for this. In fact each school has the same amount they can use, isn’t that right??
It seems a school like Bama is at a disadvantage when there are a high number of draft eligible guys to split that money up for premiums.
Basically UA can’t throw any amount of money at this issue it may want to
