Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. Michigan...

He said that it was a bad call in post-game. He didn't sound enthused with it. He said that it was the third play called because of time-outs. Had a good look on first play, bad look on second, and apparently even worse of the third. I can't understand why, even if we chose to run Milroe, why didn't we sweep to field, or get flow going to field and try boundaries. I just think you have to put an athlete in space... But, we had trouble with getting athletes in space a lot.

You have to wonder how much Milroe went off script during the season. I think alot of the time the staff just didnt know what he was going to do with the ball.

You had to think it was karma that lost on a botched 4th down play after the 4&31...

a significant amount of what Milroe did was off script, but not because it was a bad play call. Very often we'd have guys open, sometimes 2 in a progressing, but JM didn't/wouldn't throw it, then he'd have to scramble, the WRs would do their best to find space and somehow the ball would get there then...

All of our inconsistencies and weaknesses came back to haunt us. Michigan simply out-coached us and I don’t know why you run into a brick wall thinking you would score.

It’s been fun yall, Roll Tide 😔

From 5 yards out at that…🤦🏻‍♂️

I gotta believe that we‘ve got receivers who are tired of being wide open, jumping up and down waving their arms, and not getting the ball. Trying to show out with a QB who can’t see the field is gonna make you look hard at the portal, trying to find a Mac, Tua, or Bryce who can get you the ball. Sayin grabbing the job is unlikely, so you’re signing up for another year of frustration.

that's why we almost had a revolt in the WR room with Hurts. I see the same thing coming with Milroe, and if I am a TE, or a quick twitchy slot WR, I'm getting in the portal if I think JM is the starter next year.
