I see absolutely nothing wrong with them having some fun.

Yea I think it's weird and I do think it could backfire on him. But I don't think its some indictment on his character or anything.

Milroe is the quintessential college football athlete in its current NIL iteration. The casual fans eat it up. Personally I wish he would just go away. I’m so over his schtick.

What if he was spending time volunteering instead of making a dumb song?

Would people criticize him for doing good works rather than film study?

Because he clearly isn't doing both. Leading up to the playoffs, all I kept hearing about was the LANK crap, and he acted like he had "arrived". This new generation of athlete only cares about building their brand, and it's exhausting. Just play the game.

No, it's more Milroe needs to be working at getting better at QB instead of taking photo ops and making songs and such. Unless you can explain to the rest of us how making songs and taking pics with people will translate to him actually being able to read a defense and slide protections, etc.......

Jalen Milroe likely has the best practice work ethic of any player on the team. And you're going to criticize him for having some fun on the side? What's he supposed to do in his free time? Sit at home and twiddle his thumbs?

Showing up at 3am to lift weights has no bearing on his INABILITY to read defenses, check down to option 2,3,4, etc and throw passes over the middle and to the sidelines on time.
I can show up at the gym at 3:30 in the am, too, and it ain't goona transform me into Lou Ferigno anymore that it's going to help him metally learn and be able to execute quicker.

I don’ honestly don’t get this. He is a human. I don’t like or agree with the LANK stuff but he can’t spend 16 hours a day on football. He is still a kid/young adult and has a life. At least he is learning the business side of life in case football doesn’t work out. If he is taking football serious then good for guys doing this. Am I tired of hearing about LANK and woo is me absolutely and that makes me tired of him as well but times are different. They aren’t “student” athletes anymore so I’m trying to think of them as just professionals and even pro athletes don’t/can’t spend 100% of time on their sport.

Do you spend every moment working and getting better for your job? Or would you take advantage of making money all the ways you can and have fun with friends?

Same question to you...if he was spending his time doing charitable works rather than making dumb songs, would you still be calling him out for not focusing enough on football?

Well, he isn't Bryce Young...most college QBs aren't Bryce Young.

IF he had everything that Bryce Young has, with Milroe's physical skills, he might be the best college QB in history.

Milroe talk is exhausting. He's just a kid who plays football. There is plenty of evidence he is a hard worker and a team guy.

This song is a little weird and definitely could come back to bite him but I hardly think its the end of the world.
