9 and 3 , the day after. Tell us how you really feel now that you slept on it. For me, I pretty much feel the same way. It’s not that we lost, it was how unprepared and unmotivated the team looked with all their goals still on the table except an undefeated season. That keeps sticking with me. if you go back and look at this board, there was very little talk about the OU game, I seems the fans were caught up in SEC championship scenarios or the CFBP . I often wonder if the same things that have us distracted , has the players distracted. Reason I say that was the last game we didn’t talk about much was the Vandy game. The players aren’t keeping the main thing, the main thing. CKD said the team had a good week of practice with good energy. What happened between then and game time? Even with a week to prepare, OU should never control the Game like they did.
Bama has not won 9 games yet, and we might not at all

Every time we lost under Saban, he always said we weren't as focused during practice. Deboer always says we had a great week of practice. I don't like the inability to read the team. That or the practice intensity is lacking. I'm tired of seeing the team look unmotivated. I don't like watching this Bama team. You never know what version you're getting. I may not watch the iron bowl. I don't want to watch last night's version and honestly I don't want to see the motivated version. Too little too late. It'll just make me that much madder. I'm ready for a qb that knows how to play the position. For 4 years we've endured a average passer who wouldn't run when he needed to followed by a guy with a phenomenal arm and lightning speed who didn't seem to have a clue. I don't want a one man show and if you look at this season that's really what it was. How many times did the qb get the first td?
And a defense that can't stop the run has no business in the sec or at Bama. That is tough hard nosed football. This team is soft as a basket of kittens. But hey, at least they're getting paid right? All is right in the world.

That’s the only game plan he can execute. If he can’t run it’s going to be a long day. The coaches can’t coach around this issue. The only solution is riding the pine.
I still can’t fathom how he is playing at this point. At literally ANY other level of football, he would not have been the starter after the Tennessee game. But because college football has been tainted by NIL and player entitlement, he is given chance after chance….after chance. I never thought I would ever have so much disdain for ANY Bama player. I can no longer say that. He has destroyed my love for this program.

If I’m Greg Byrne, I call DeBoer into my office. I pull out a bottle of Wild Turkey and plop it on my desk. I look DeBoer in eye and say “Kalen, do you drink? If you don’t, given how your team played last night , and if you lose to Auburn at home on Saturday, you better start…….because you’re going to need it”

Milroe had 14 runs and gained a total of 12 yards. Add 3 interceptions to that. Some of that has to be on the offensive coordinator, but most lies at the feet of Milroe. This guy is not anywhere near a quality SEC QB. This has become a major long term setback for Bama. We will suffer from the transfer portal and the best recruits will look elsewhere. Yes, I am disgusted and I have a right to be. I am still searching for something positive in our football program.

What happened to Milroe’s deep ball? last year that was his best ball, and even early on this year but as of late when he goes deep, he’s wayyyyy off a lot of times.
Great question, I’ve been asking for awhile. The book on Milroe was he didn’t throw the short or intermediate ball well, but his deep ball was the best in the country.
