Not wanting Big Bird, who makes plenty of money in the market and doesn't need subsidies, steal from taxpayers is "killing Big Bird?"

That's the whole entitlement nature the Democrats want to nurture. There is absolutely no reason why PBS needs public funding. Show commercials like every other channel. My little girl will still watch Cat in the Hat even if there are adverts for Pillow Pets mixed in.

It's another perverse liberal concept. Shows like Sesame Street make a tremendous amount of money through sales and licensing because people love the product. They don't need money. Who might? Programs that nobody watches. Heh. Making people pay for something they don't want ..... well that's just liberalism all over, isn't it?

If Mitt wins I fear the U.S. will start nation building all over again in the Middle east, while our nation's infrastructure falls apart.

You can't be serious. Even if that was Mitt's primary goal, there is no way congress or public opinion would allow it. If Obama is reelected, our nation's infrastructure will continue to fall apart while he blames every one else, but himself.

some of these responses about Biden are comical. Romney had the same cocky display last week and it was "all good" like someone said above. whoever you support looked the best in the debate.

I disagree about Romney. He looked confident not cocky. There is a distinction.

(CNN) – A CNN poll of debate watchers released following Thursday's matchup between Rep. Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden showed 48% of respondents named Ryan the winner and 44% said Biden won.

The margin between the two candidates was within the poll's five point sampling error.

That is one of my biggest problems with Obama. I've heard nothing but excuses from the guy for 4yrs. The only things he will admit to are getting Osama and passing obamacare. I would have liked to see Ryan call the administration out more in this respect.

Outstanding point.

Though I agree with that point, you have to understand that from their perspective, it's like a family intervention: they love us, so they've got us on a 12-step program.

"Hello. I'm the United States. And I'm a money-grubbing, racist, woman-hating war-monger. Where are the doughnuts?"

Biden acted like a spoiled brat. Don't know how Ryan did NOT reach across the table and smack his face. Rude, arrogant, obnoxious come to mind when describing Biden.
