We want to keep the site operating as a self-sufficient site without losing money on it. We believe we provide the best site for the fan anywhere on the net. Sure, other sites may have a full time staff, but do they provide the sense of civility and community that TideFans.com provides? We think not...especially for FREE!

So, in summary, advertisers pay our advertising company (and ultimately us) to show their ads on our site. We provide a small space at the top of and sides of the screen to do that.
